Departed Carlsbad, New Mexico where I stayed at the Carlsbad RV Park and Campground. I enjoyed my stay. Carlsbad is a nice little town (small city), even has a Super Walmart.
The Carlsbad RV Park and Campground was a great place to stay. It is a family owned and operated park. The owners are Jim & Mary Crozier and their family. They also had helping out Sean Blanchette, Gloria, Brenda and Scott. The park is an older park but they are working hard to upgrade it.
They have a pot of coffee and good conversation available in the morning which is what I like to do best in the morning. For someone like myself who relies on having the internet available they have a fairly reliable high speed WiFi. They also have the best, by far, DVD rental library with a couple of hundred or more titles all for $1.00 each/day. Their DVD library includes a lot of new releases.
Oh yes before I forget. Before I left this morning I enjoyed their once weekly on Saturday morning breakfast in the Teapot room of the club house. I had biscuits and gravy with bacon. Mary, those biscuits and gravy were some of the best I have had in years. You have most restaurants beat! Thanks!
While in Carlsbad I visited Roswell in particular the International UFO Museum and Research Center. On Thursday I toured the Carlsbad Caverns National Park Caverns. Both of these visits are discussed elsewhere in these blogs.
I write this after traveling a good half way, or more, to San Antonio. I am staying the Night at the Economy Inn and RV Park in Ozona, Texas. I will arrive some where in the San Antonio area tomorrow afternoon. That is part of the adventure not knowing where I will be, even the next day.
