First I need to apologize for not writing something here for the past two weeks. My only excuse has been that I have been lazy. The weather here has been near or even record breaking high temps. My outside thermometer has reached as high as 102 degrees.
Besides visiting a client and a friend here in Colorado the reason I came here was to avoid hot days during the summer. Looks like I blew that. Anyway, back to being lazy. When it is hot like this I tend to seek deep shelter and hibernate. I haven't felt much like doing anything. The most I have felt like doing is trying to keep up with my email. I've done ok with my business email but as for my personal email I have let it go badly.
As I write this I am setting in a Barnes & Noble Book Store in Littleton, Colorado. About 7 miles from where I am staying in Englewood. I have finally decided I have had enough funk and if I don't feel like getting any work done at home I will try getting out a bit and work surrounded by people instead of cats.
As I mentioned above, one of the reason's for being in the Denver area is to visit with an old friend. Steve was a neighbor of mine before I left Meridian, Idaho to begin this adventure. A few months after I started he moved south to San Antonio, Texas. He lived there about a year, but before I got there on my adventure he had moved north to Denver. Well he has decided to stay here another year so I am finally catching up to him on my adventure. Since my arrival we have gotten together a couple of times for coffee. Here in a few days we are going to go to Golden, Colorado and visit the Coors Brewery then out for dinner. Once I complete that visit I will tell you about my visit to the Coors Brewery.
I am also here to visit with one of my clients. I have been working with Don and his wife Jane for about the last year and a half by phone. When they heard I would be in the area they asked if I would let them know. Today I go an email and it looks like here soon I will be visiting them for a cook out. I enjoy chatting with both of them by phone so look forward to meeting them in person.
Hopefully I do have this funk under control and I will be adding some more entries here soon. I know I need to write a summary for my stay in Branson and I need to write a review of the Escapee's Turkey Creek RV Park there in Branson. I, of course have many classic destinations to write about before I started this blog.
Until next time.
