The last two days have been pretty unsettled. Thunder and lightning with the obligatory wind and rain. I was planning on going to Elvis Presley's Graceland either yesterday or today but as long as it is wet I won't make it. The Elvis tour is more than just the Mansion but the grounds around the estate. I want to be able to enjoy the tour so I will delay my visit until Thursday or Friday.

The storm from that we are in here is the same one that has caused 7 deaths in the South Texas town of Eagle Pass and an additional 3 dead across the border in Mexico. The weather forecast shows it starting to clear tomorrow and the forecast is for it to be sunny on Friday.

Even though it was raining I got a little cabin fever so I went out to do some grocery shopping.  On my way I found a Krispy Kreme. Since there doesn't seem to be any coffee shops in this part of the country I stopped off at Krispy Kreme for a donut and coffee. I took a couple of magazines with me and relaxed with a cup of coffee while catching up on the latest IT (Information Technology) news.

Speaking of Krispy Kreme. This is the first one I have been to since I lived in Groton, Connecticut back in 92, 93 and 94. It is not the first I have seen since then. They even have one in Meridian (near Boise), Idaho. I just prefer a regular old coffee shop.
