On Friday April 6th I plan to take another day trip into New Orleans to visit the French Quarter again. I was a little rushed last time so I am leaving earlier and will spend more time trying to find a better place to park. Speaking of parking I got a little lucky last time. I don't expect to get that lucky again, so I went online and found a map of parking garages. If you are looking for a map of parking garages in the French Quarter of New Orleans the try here: http://www.frenchquarter.com/shopping/ParkingRouletteStory.php
I was thinking of staying in Louisiana yet another week, but I am getting itchy footed. Today I went out looking for a good RV Park but all I could find were RV Park Campgrounds, with the emphasis on Campgrounds. And with all the rain we have had here lately they were pretty muddy. I'm afraid I like things to be a little less back woodsy. I like cement pads to park on whenever I can, especially if it is raining a lot.
So on Sunday I plan to head north. To be honest with you, I don't really have any place in particular to stop at. I have about a month to kill before I need to be in Branson for the Site 1 Holy Loch, Scotland Reunion, so I plan to just knock around and see what looks interesting. I do plan to stop of in Memphis, Tennessee. I suppose that if I am going to be this close I should stop by and see Graceland. Other than that I have nothing in mind.
I may show up in Branson a couple of weeks before the reunion. I have been planning to spend about a month there anyway. I suppose the earlier I arrive the sooner after the reunion I can start heading west. We will just have to see what happens.
