I made a couple of command decisions since the first of the year. After making out my new schedule for 2008 and 2009 I decided to attend a Navy Reunion in Holy Loch, Scotland in and around May 2009. If I didn't have 3 cats living with me I would just travel to the United Kingdom from wherever I will be at the time. Since I do have 3 cats I need to be back here in Boise so my son Ray can keep an eye on my babies for me.
So I will need to push off my West Coast tour by one year. I will be updating my schedule over the next few days to include the need for me to be back here in Boise in May 2009.
Additionally, I found out recently that a friend of mine named Steve who lives in Denver is getting married this coming June. He, like me, is a long term bachelor (20 years or so) and when he told me he was getting married you could have knocked me over with a feather. His bride to be's name is Shari and she is a nurse and in Steve's own words she "is a fox." They are planning on getting married on the 21st of June.
Since I am going through all this schedule changing I am considering on trying to make it back over to Denver to attend his wedding. I just spent last summer in Denver and was not planning to be back there for another couple of years. I don't know yet if I can or not but once I do I will announce it here on my web site.
Now that I am not going to do the west coast trip next year I need to come up with some kind of alternate trip that has me on the road (necessary after hibernating this winter) yet back here in June 2008 and here again in May 2009 and still allow me a couple of months in Phoenix between December and February.
Stay tuned to the web site and in a week or so I will have a new revised schedule worked out.
