I was sort of impressed with the Research Center. They had a reading room/library that contained a lot of reading materials, VHS tapes and DVD's with, I imagine most every thing ever published on the subject of UFO's.
The main museum starts out as a timeline of the 1947 Alien crash with photos, news paper accounts and some recreated scenes of events that supposedly happened. Most of the recreations are of course scaled down. One of the better recreations, and a full scale one, is the Alien autopsy. I had a picture of me standing in front of the scene. After the time line the museum then starts dealing with the history of UFO's and the speculation about where the Aliens might come from.
Last stop before exiting is the gift shop. Plenty of T-Shirts, books and DVD's. You can even by a complete copy of the Project Blue Book report complete with blue cover.
The International UFO Museum and Research Center is located on the main street of Roswell and surrounding it on both sides of the street are UFO gift shops, restaurants etc.
I read that the International UFO Museum and Research Center has out grown it's current location inside an old movie theater and in July 2007 they will be breaking ground on a brand new larger International UFO Museum and Research Center.
