Welcome to what I hope to be many web log (Blog, or Journal) entries here at Have Web Sites Will Travel, aka the Travel adventures of the World's first Traveling Webmaster.
I have been working for some time now on a new Blog system for the site. My old SitRep and Diary system was just too cumbersome which made it difficult for me to keep current topics on the web site. Hopefully this new system will make it easier for me to add content to this web site.
I am leaving in a couple of weeks for my longest expedition accross a large part of the country. I am leaving Phoenix where I have spent most of the winter and heading east across New Mexico, into Texas, Louisiana, Missouri, Oaklahoma, Colorado, Montana and finally back to Boise, Idaho next fall. Hopefully I will have some nice travel adventures to share with anyone visiting my web site.
This Blog system is still in Beta but is fairly mature now, so I am ready to go live with it. The main differences between this new system and my old is you as a site visitor will be able to contribute to my Blog with your comments. Additionally, it will allow you to subscribe to the Blog via RSS feed (coming soon!) so you can keep updated on any additions and or changes to the web sites Blog.
