Reason to Visit :      "The Happiest Place on Earth," Disneyland, opened in 1955. Nostalgia is a big part of the appeal of Disneyland. Disneyland is infused with American values and American traditions. That is what makes Disneyland so unique in all the world of theme parks.

Hours of Operation:
Disneyland and California Adventure are open every day of the year. The parks are generally open from 9 or 10am to 6 or 7pm on weekdays, fall to spring; and from 8 or 9am to midnight or 1am on weekends, holidays, and during winter, spring, or summer vacation periods.

Purchase your tickets in advance and bypass the crowds at the ticket counters.

Directions:
From I-5. Exit on Katella Avenue and turn West. Then proceed across Katella Avenue and merge left onto Disney Way. Follow the Theme Park signs to the most convenient parking area.

Visted Yet During This Adventure? :       No.   The Traveling Webmaster has not yet visited, Disneyland and California Adventure during this current adventure, but once I do, I will be sure and tell you all about it. I will provide a rating and my recommendation whether you should schedule Disneyland and California Adventure in your next vacation plan.

But I have been to Disneyland and California Adventure before in late 1950's early 1960's and again in the 80's.

Traveling Webmasters Comments about his previous visit in late 1950's early 1960's and again in the 80's. :
Began visiting Disneyland as a young lad just after it opened in 1955. Went there numerous times in the late 50's and early 60's. While stationed in San Diego with the Navy in the late 60's I also visited. Then not again until the 80's when I took my own family. Have not visited since then. Look forward to my next visit.
