Reason to Visit :      Sierra Sid's Truck Stop Casino next to the Western Village Casino. Stop at Sid's and you'll find more than gas. Sierra Sid's is home to the Guns of Elvis and other Elvis items. All purchased from Elvis' daddy's (Vernon Presley) estate.

In a wall of display cases next to the nickel slot machines you'll find jewelry (including a tiger eye ring, watch and diamonds) that Elvis gave to his father. You'll also find four .45 handguns (one of which reportedly Elvis used to shoot out a TV set).

Sierra Sid's Truck Stop Casino also includes spurs once owned by John Wayne.

Have Web Sites Will Travel Truck in front of Sierra Sids Truck Stop home of the Elvis Gun Collection.
Sierra Sid's Travel Center (Truck Stop) is another Truck Stop with a Casino. With one exception, it is the home to Elvis's Gun Collection. Below are 3 pictures of the display. There are a few more so these pictures do not represent the entire collection.

The display is prominently located just inside the entrance to Sierra Sid's. It is an impressive display and I would hate to guess the value of these guns. The collection is well presented and a tribute to the idiosyncrasies of Elvis the man. I can only imagine what it is like to have so much money that I can collect whatever I want.
