Reason to Visit :      12 and 13 June (in 2004): 11th Annual Kiowa Celtic Festival blending the Scottish & Irish cultures along with Living History groups to symbolize the Scottish & Irish Immigrant Experience in America. Kiowa is at 6,000 feet above sea level, and is one of the highest celtic festivals on earth.

Featuring bagpipers, drummers, Highland Dancing, Irish Dancing, Folk Music Bands and Performers. Scottish Highland Athletics Competition.

Exhibits & Displays featuring Living History Groups(The Rennaissance Scots, the 79th Highlanders & Civil War Reenactors, Mountain Men) Scottish Clans -- nearly three dozen!

Gift and Craft Vendors--Scottish & Irish Imports, Celtic Jewelry.

Located: Elbert County Fairgrounds Kiowa , CO Near: Denver.

Directions: I-25 to CO 86 east, 22 miles, I-70 to CO 86 west
