The Mariners Museum, is one of the largest international maritime museums in the world. It is dedicated to "illuminating mankind's experience with the sea and the events that shaped the course and progress of civilization".

Hi on my priority list to visit is The USS Monitor Center, slated to open in 2007. It will be home to the priceless artifacts recovered from the historic ship
