Reason to Visit :      If you are in this area over Fourth of July weekend, don't miss this fantastic event. A food festival featuring area restaurants' specialties. The food is outstanding!

There are rides galore, with many special events happening all day long. The highlight of the day is the most spectacular fireworks display you will ever see. The entire day event is incredible!

This event is the only time all year that civilians are allowed on the Submarine Base.

This event is sponsored by the Morale Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Department of the Naval Submarine Base at New London and numerous local businesses and organizations.

Visted Yet During This Adventure? :       No.   The Traveling Webmaster has not yet visited, Sub-Fest at Sub Base New London during this current adventure, but once I do, I will be sure and tell you all about it. I will provide a rating and my recommendation whether you should schedule Sub-Fest at Sub Base New London in your next vacation plan.

But I have been to Sub-Fest at Sub Base New London before in 1992, 93 and 94.

Traveling Webmasters Comments about his previous visit in 1992, 93 and 94. :
I attended the Sub-Fest Festival each of the years I was stationed at the Sub Base. I enjoyed them very much.

I am currently scheduled to be in the New London/Groton area in July of 2007. I will make it a point to attend.
