Ray Plumlee's Comments :
Much bigger than the first one I attended back in 1999. My son Ray and I went in the mid afternoon while it was well underway.

Good crowd. Many times more than the last time I attended. Again it was enjoyable and definitely in the Highland Games tradition.

Well Done Boise!

And I have been to Treasure Valley Celtic Festival and Highland Games before in in 1999.

Traveling Webmasters Comments about his previous visit in in 1999. :
My son Ray and I went when it was held at the Les Bois Park Race Track. I believe this was their first year. We had a good time walking around the various booths and watching the games. My personal favorite is the Cabor Toss.

I have attended other Scottish Festivals, here in the states and in Scotland. The one I have been to that I would use as a benchmark, is the Dunoon Highland Games in Dunoon, Scotland. I would have to say, though it is much, much smaller it is true to the tradition and well worth attending.
