Have Web Sites Will Travel Truck in front of The Alamo Travel Center (Truck Stop) which was listed by Discovery's Travel Channel as the World's 8th Best Truck Stop.


Nothing spectacular! At least not in Nevada. The main reason The Alamo Travel Center (Truck Stop) was listed by Discovery's Travel Channel as the World's 8th Best Truck Stop is because it has a Casino. Well in Nevada every place has a Casino or at least a batch of slot machines. The local Albertson Grocery store does, the corner gas station does. It goes on and on from there. In fact it is a rare public establishment that does not have a row or two of slot machines.

I ate lunch in the Iron Skillet Restaurant which is part of The Alamo Travel Center (Truck Stop). I had a Philly Cheese Steak sandwhich. The sandwhich was OK but not as good as I have had before. The steak was made of a very tender but thickly sliced meat. I personally prefer the thin sliced.
