Review:
I have been a regular customer at peggy sues for about 2 years eating there two to three times a week. it seems as though peggy sues does not want to encourage regular, repeat business, even labeling me in a class of people saying that they have had numorous problems with YOU RAILROAD PEOPLE before. I had an incident about a year ago with a server who charged accross a kitchen floor to shove my arm away as I was refilling a drink. she said that I was only allowed one refill, there is a sign, and if I didn't like it, to not come back. I tried to talk with the manager, sue, who also took the employees side, stating that there is a sign saying only one refill. the fact that I tried to explain topping it off before with 2 inches because I was waiting for my pizza didn't seem to count. sue said that she doubted that she could make the worker apologize and recomended to not come in when she was working. (am I supposed to get her schedule?). next, I changed my order after walking over to peggy sues in the hot sun. the server said: "your supposed to make up your mind before I write all this down!". I responded with: "how hard is it to cross out large and put medium?". the server admonished me with saying: "you'r gonna have to tone it down because that is my daughter sitting right there". her daughter got envolved and I told her daughter that when she grew up and could work behind the counter then maybe I would talk to her, but for right now, this conversation didn't include her. the worker said that I couldn't talk to her daughter like that. her daughter went and got the manager sue. sue and the daughter talked in the hallway for 15 minutes before sue came in all charged up. she asked "do we have a problem again?". whenever I tried to say anything, the manager, sue, who should be setting an example for other workers, would just talk over me. she said that I called a customer a kid, that I caused trouble there before and that even though that she was her daughter, that she is a customer, and that I would have to leave. (apparently, i'm not a customer). after throwing me out, and I wanted my money, she asked if I wanted to eat my pizza there. the workers daughter, feeling like she had won saw me in the parking lot of a nearby gas station and charged through the parking lot with her car, holding something up and hitting the horn. witnesses had seen this and wanted to call the police. I left messages for the owners of peggy sues to call me leaving my contact number. the owners apparently didn't think that it was serious enough to return my call, yet broke the law and called my employer. I was on the carpet for almost an hour at my employers. peggy sues had said that I was obnoxious, disruptive, scaring away all their customers, & loud,- lies, & I do not know what else that was said. I found it interesting that they want to act like old people and call my work. they told my work that "they had tapes of everything", and I wasn't to go on their property again. I am now seeking litigation for damages as peggy sues seems to try to one-up the little man. at least people that eat there ought to be warned to not divulge their place of work.
On another note, I have known of several co-workers of mine who have had some rather bazaar incidents there- one was for talking too loud even though he and several of his quests had spent probably $125 or more and was told: "this is the second time we've had to tell you that you are talking too loud and if we have to come back again, you'll have to leave!"- another was playing around a bit, and got on a chair and touched their cheap camera. they came over to him saying that if he did it again, he could never come back. one more involved the team special that includes a pitcher of soda I believe. the customer wanted beer and their answer was: "no- you can't have beer with the team special!". it seems that they don't know how to talk to people. (maybe the workers learned from the management?) the customer said something like I guess you don't want a tip today, then the worker got real rude and nasty with him. the customer left, slinging the door shut so now he's the bad guy. (I think peggy sues didn't sell that team special either). it could have been squashed by a considerate worker to say "sir you can have beer but I will have to charge for that". I know that he would have paid, left a tip, and been a comeback customer if the thoughtless worker would have handled it differently. (have you ever tried their beer in the back?- it is HOT!) oh yeah- these are all YOU RAILROAD PEOPLE! who, by the way helped to create what that place is.
