Review:
If you are anywhere within a 3 hour drive I say you must see the fireworks display! This year the fireworks will be Sat, July 1st. We travelled from NY to come to the subfest every year for the past five years. The last four years it was moved off base due to 9/11. This year it reurns to the best location, the Sub base itself!! We now live within 30 minutes of the base so we are definitely going to be there! The kids have soo much fun, the food is awesome and there's something for everyone! Lots of booths selling stuff, rides..just a great day out with family or friends!! This location is also close to Mystic, CT another great place to visit!
