Review:
We went to the festival for the first time this year. We were a little nervous when we pulled into the town after driving for 10 1/2 hours. It is very small with only one main drag through town. But we were pleasantly surprised when we got to the heart of the celebration! The Superman statue is amazing, the food is great, and the people are some of the friendliest we've met. It's a huge celebration in a small town way. It was very hot- almost 100 degrees, but ice cold water was distributed by a local church. After waiting in line for 1 1/2 hours for an autograph by Smallville's LEX LUTHOR, we were interviewed by a local newspaper. The day we left, we discovered that there were 6 paragraphs about US in the Sunday Paducah Sun!! We will definitely be returning in the future and hope to take our kids someday too!
